Great learning toy! November 10, 2006 Alex's Mom (Bridgewater, NJ) This is a well built toy that my son loves to play with. I love that underneath has pictures of words associated with the letter. And the pegs make it perfect for my 21 month old's little fingers to grab
Another great Melissa and Doug puzzle May 21, 2007 A. Sands (Michigan) What can I say, I am a huge Melissa and Doug fan, my 2.5 yo loves this puzzle and acts surprised at the pictures everytime he plays with it, probably for my sake, lol. It's very durable and the pegs make fitting the pieces back in place easy. A great buy for the money.
Is the best toy i have bouth for my baby October 10, 2007 Aurora Montes Gonzalez (mexico) since my baby was 13 moths, she started to like it, and now, she already know all the letters, i complement this toy with some magnetics alphabet...and she love it =)
nice puzzle December 8, 2008 David Schaub This is a nice sturdy puzzle, which my toddler loves. Also I would like to add that "F" is for "fish" not bird, and I don't really think that these symbols are too obtuse for a young kid learning the alphabet. The pegs are a good size for little hands too.
Great Puzzle! February 20, 2009 A. Mott (Long Island, NY) I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son (17 mos at the time) and thought maybe it would be a little difficult for him at that time but we gave it a whirl. By the end of January he knew all of the letters and their respective places. We also reinforced "B is for Basket" "H is for House" etc. and he really understands the objects underneath. Now, less than 2 months after starting this, he is starting to show me letters in all the different places we find them, his Car's cup said "DOC HUDSON" and he could tell me where each letter was, along with his Elmo slippers that said Elmo. This puzzle teaches fine motor skills (the pieces aren't the easiest for little ones) and is a lot of fun to learn the letters of the alphabet, I can't speak highly enough of this puzzle.
