Customer Reviews:
4 out of 5 stars excellent, but get it for younger kid than 3 y/o   October 29, 2008

Excellent toy, well-made, looks and feels good. But it seems to be a lot easier to operate than it you'd think! We got it for our 2.5 y/o thinking it would take him a while to figure out how to take the pieces out and put them back in. Well, it took him about 10 minutes. Since then, he rarely touches it because it's not challenging. So, the toy is a pure joy for me, but not for the kid!I am hoping our younger son will eventually love it. The 3 y/o recommended age is clearly a wrong suggestion.

4 out of 5 stars Fascinates Toddler   May 29, 2009

My 18 month old is fascinated with screws and tools so I got this for him. He is still too young to completely figure out the twisting involved but he is fascinated trying to get it to work and gets so excited when he finally maneuvers a piece the right way. He plays with it all the time. This toy will be used at our house for years to come. I'm not sure how durable it is since the little pieces sticking out of the main poles sometimes come out of their holes.
