Only thing my son requested from Santa and it's a big hit! December 28, 2009 Tina (MD) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The only thing my son requested from Santa was a rocket ship so I searched Amazon and found this one and a couple of others. After showing him pics, "Santa" decided on this one. And my son is absolutely thrilled with it! Between this and his boats, he is in heaven. I assembled it in the middle of night without any problem. And besides the top plastic pieces not staying on very well, I had none of the problems mentioned in the previous post. For any future astronaut or space explorer, this is a wonderful choice. I know my son would be giving it 5 stars without a doubt. We've been playing with it for hours every day since Santa's arrival.
Lots of fun for my 4 and 6 year old December 28, 2009 D. Thiel (Deerfield, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My two boys avoided the Wii and put down their bakugans to spend hours playing with this set. Lots of fun.
-- it's a multilevel rocketship with rooms, an elevator, stairs, doors, etc.
-- lots of little pieces and parts to add/remove/move around the set
-- large enough for them to mix in their matchbox cars, lego characters etc for even more fun
-- well made, with lots of detail in the painting and decal work. Lots to explore.
Parents take note: this set has an impressive number of parts coming out of the box, but once assembled it's just fine. Assembly took about a half hour but was pretty smooth.
Great toy! December 29, 2009 J. Botsai (CA) The product came in time and was very easy to put together. My sons love it! It is very sturdy and fun to play with. We highly recommend it!
Unique rocket ship doll house January 12, 2010 Ginnie Wolf 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a well-made, unique, and kid-friendly toy. Made mostly of wood, fairly high quality and not too difficult to assemble. My kids were really excited to play with it the first few days after Christmas; they've since lost interest but I think if I put it in the middle of their room they'd play with it for a while quite happily. I'd definitely get it again.
Imagination booster February 17, 2010 R. Lansley (Boston, MA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We purchased this toy for our three year old son last christmas, and it has been a big hit. The open sided design makes it great for parallel play with his little brother, and the colorful details have led to many discoveries as he played with the rocket. We placed the rocket on a small train table to bring it up off the ground and to keep the accessory pieces as contained as possible. So far, the only drawback is that the nose of the rocket and the top "windows" do not stay put, and the nose cone is pretty heavy compared to the rest of the structure. We removed the nosecone for now without any problem, at least until both boys are old enough to leave it in place while they play. Assembly was straightforward. I would confidently recommend this toy.
